Hand stitching techniques include quilting, cording, free-form embroidery and French knots. “Body Map” started with an original painting by Larry Rushing. A small portion of the painting was digitally printed onto a woven cotton blend fabric and layered with batting and a backing.  Made in 2020.

Medicine Jacquard Series

A series of original jacquard woven fabrics with motifs that include the symbol for White Light, forms from traditional Chinese medicine packaging and the face of my dog Dia. Yarn combinations were used for color blending, and parts of the original fabric were appliqued onto the base.
